The delightful seaside location of Art Hostel offers much tranquility, with an extensive sandy and rocky seashore, ideal for exploration and a leisurely stroll at any time of day. Art Hostel’s ocean view terrace (with BBQ facilities) is a particularly pleasant place to relax. Art Hostel is a perfect peaceful place in which to “re-charge”.

Art Hostel is ideal as either a touring base for a few nights or as a one-night-stopover on your journey.

There is a wide range of room types available, from simple to plush, all modern and fresh, all coming with free WiFi and heating. Many of the rooms have shared shower rooms and toilet facilities whilst some rooms are fully en suite. There is much spaciousness inside and out Art Hostel.

Self catering facilities are provided. There are dining areas too as well as a comfortable lounge area (with large screen TV).

For those wishing activities, Art Hostel is in an ideal location for seaward & landward bird watching and, for the more active, kayaks can be rented for use on nearby inland waters (shallow). Also, a modern swimming pool and hot pots (of course!) is just over the road.

Whilst located in the midst of a very peaceful and most relaxing environment, both Reykjavík’s city centre and Keflavík International Airport can be reached within a 1 hour drive.
